Surfing changed our lives.
It can change someone else’s too.

Through Swell Adventures, we collect gently used surf equipment and bring it directly to fragile and remote coastal communities where access to gear is limited — but talent, curiosity, and potential are not.

Why This Matters

In many coastal communities:

Kids grow up next to the ocean
They see waves every day
But they don’t have access to boards, leashes, or basic equipment

A single surfboard can open:

A new skill
A new identity
A new source of confidence
A future in coaching, competition, or tourism

Access creates opportunity.

What We Accept

We collect gently used:

Surfboards (all sizes)
Soft tops for beginners
Leashes
Fins
Board bags
Wetsuits
Rashguards
Surf wax
Ding repair kits

If you’re unsure whether something is usable — send us a photo first.

We prioritize gear that is safe and functional.

Where It Goes

Donations are personally delivered by our team during select Swell Adventures trips.

We focus on:

Small coastal villages
Youth programs
Local surf collectives
Under-resourced communities

We do not resell donated equipment.

We work directly with local leaders to ensure distribution is fair and impactful.

The Impact

For some kids, it’s their first board.
For some teenagers, it becomes their first job.
For some communities, it strengthens local surf culture in a sustainable way.

We are not “saving” anyone.
We are expanding access.

The ocean already belongs to them.
